This piece is an adaptable, personal shelter, made from stuffed bandage tubes. An interest in invented textiles (the original all cotton elastic bandage was introduced commercially in 1913), handbuilt shelter, and a sense of victimization played out in both the housing market and health care industry helped spur the work.
